The field of school-age care is unique! You need a special set of skills and knowledge to be successful in supporting and guiding children ages 5-12. Through the interactive and engaging activities in this module you will be introduced to top websites, resources, tools, and information. You will also have a chance to connect with other school age staff, and reflect on your own goals and experiences.

To introduce you to professional behavior (teamwork, work ethic, dress, focus)
Increase your communication skills with co-workers, children, and parents
Develop a relationship-based and family centered approach to guiding and teaching children social skills
